Frank Harrison, born May 12 1926, died peacefully on Friday August, 1 2014 at his home in Hyannis. Despite many medical challenges the past few years, he spent his last days friendly and fun loving as ever.

Frank was born in and lived in Boston until age 17 when he left to join the Coast Guard. He was actively involved in WWII, serving in the Philippines and other overseas locations. Shortly after his discharge he met the love of his life and his best friend Celia Foster Harrison whom he married in 1949. Celia predeceased him in 1989.

Shortly after their marriage, Frank and Celia moved to Harwich to be close to family. Upon moving to Cape Cod he initially worked at Handlers Auto Parts in Harwich and later managed James Marceline's Salvage yard until his retirement in 1986. While Frank was actively involved with the Harwich Little League, the Cub Scouts, and the Democratic Party, time with his family was most important.
.
Shortly after his retirement, Frank moved to Fort Myers, FL, where he spent twenty years enjoying the warm weather and playing tennis.

In August of 2012 Frank returned to Cape Cod, enjoying visits from his family and friends at Emeritus assisted living in Hyannis. The entire staff at Emeritus was incredible and treated him like royalty.
