Frank Delano Walton, 80, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired construction worker, Army veteran of the Korean War and member of Arkoal Community Baptist Church.

Memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with inurnment at Huntington Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.

He is survived by his wife, Fern; three sons, William Slate of Pocola, OK, Danny Slate of Huntington and Dan Jordan of Phoenix, AZ; six daughters, Sharion Trantham of Huntington, Vivian Cumbie of Arkoala, Nina Coxwell of Greenwood, Maryann Stringer of Huntington, Carol Lynn of Greenwood and Michelle Greb of Greenwood; twenty-eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
