We met Frankie the very first day that we spent in Oak Island. When we bought the house behind him, he and Cindy welcomed us and all of our children. Then he began cooking for us, taught my husband how to go boating on the ocean, where to fish, and how to get out alive when the bilge pump breaks. The stories they shared were beyond adventurous. His booming laughter and big hugs scared our little grandson and, so he gave him Yoo-Hoos and they became best of friends too. Our heart breaks for the loss of Frankie, yet we know that heaven is even better now that he is there. Sending all of our love to Cindy and his big beautiful family.
