Fred Lee Adkison "Big Daddy" passed away November 25, 2016 at his home in Yukon, Oklahoma. Fred was born in Jennings, Oklahoma to the union of Arthur Lee and Eva Mae (Simon) Adkison on July 11, 1935.
Big Daddy enjoyed many things from gardening to spending time with his beloved family. Because he was a family man, the family had a tradition that every new born baby in the family would get their first bath in the kitchen sink by Fred. He smiled a lot and gave out hugs freely. Fred was considered a "person of trust" and gave out hugs freely. Fred was considered a "person of trust" and he had strong ties to the Special Olympics and the Renaissance Program. He loved dogs especially Chihuahua's and Miniature Pinscher's.
Fred worked at Sneider's IGA for 28 years and retired as a manager. He will be greatly missed, always remember and forever loved.

Uncle Freddy (Uncle Fooey as my daughter called him when she was 3/4) had a contagious laugh. I loved witnessing he and Nina together, they were ALWAYS holding hands. All of you are in my prayers.
