Fred Aglipay Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 30, 2014.

Frederick Niduaza Aglipay was born on January 25, 1954 in Tubao, La Union Philippines. He was the second youngest in a family with seven children. He arrived in the United States on December 3, 1973 where he changed his name to Fred. He married Merlyn Rana Aglipay and had two kids: Fredalyn and Rick (who died shortly after birth). Fred became a single father in 1985 when he lost his wife to breast cancer. He worked at Toyo Trading Company for almost 30 years as a Traffic & Operations Manager. Fred was definitely a people person and would go out of his way to help someone in any way he can. He was also known to be the life of the party and enjoyed making the kids laugh. He loved fishing, joking around, and spending time with his grand-daughter Allyn. Fred peacefully passed away in his sleep. Our hearts are heavy, but we know that he is happy to be with Merlyn once again.
