ALFORD, Fred Walter (1926 ~ 2011)
(Veteran of the Royal Canadian Army)
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Friday, January 7th, 2011, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Agnes. Dear father of Ric (Cindy) and loving grandpa of Shannon and Tanner. Great grandfather of Harmonie and Brady. Brother of Violet Yourth and the late Norman Alford. Special thanks to the staff at the Oshawa Dialysis Unit and Marmora Caressant Care. Family and friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday, January 10th from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations greatly appreciated to the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Dialysis Unit.
