Fred Campbell, consummate Eagle Scout, was a genuinely admirable man. He lost his battle with brain cancer on November 4, 2013, at age 62. He was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio to Donald A. Campbell (deceased) and F. Margaret Campbell. He is survived by wife Jessie Garcia, daughters Ava Havel (Nick) and Manuela Hernandez, granddaughter Karli, mother F. Margaret Campbell, brother Allen Campbell (Lynn), 11 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews. Fred lived in the Chicago area during college and lived in Ft. Fred Campbell, consummate Eagle Scout, was a genuinely admirable man. He lost his battle with brain cancer on November 4, 2013, at age 62.

He was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio to Donald A. Campbell (deceased) and F. Margaret Campbell. He is survived by wife Jessie Garcia, daughters Ava Havel (Nick) and Manuela Hernandez, granddaughter Karli, mother F. Margaret Campbell, brother Allen Campbell (Lynn), 11 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews.

Fred lived in the Chicago area during college and lived in Ft. Collins, Colorado before moving to Kenmore, Washington in 1986. He was known by many in selling cars and boats. His final job was with the IRS. He lived a healthy life completing 14 marathons, numerous half marathons, and 6 Seattle to Portland bike rides.

Fred's love, other than family, were riding his Harley Davidson, playing his drums, and enjoying the outdoors. He had a zest for life which came across in his humor. A Celebration of Fred's life will be held at 1 pm, November 16, 2013 at University Congregational United Church of Christ, 4515 16th Ave. N.E., Seattle, WA 98105-4201. Cemetery Services & Reception immediately following at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203.
