FREDRICK "FREDDIE" LAMAR JACKSON LIZELLA – Fredrick "Freddie" Lamar Jackson, 65, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Shannon Back will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 3011 at the funeral home. Mr. Jackson, son of the late Charles Edwin and Evelyn Brown Jackson, was a resident of Crawford County. He served with the U. S. Army and was the owner of a local business. LIZELLA – Fredrick "Freddie" Lamar Jackson, 65, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Shannon Back will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 30, 3011 at the funeral home.

Mr. Jackson, son of the late Charles Edwin and Evelyn Brown Jackson, was a resident of Crawford County. He served with the U. S. Army and was the owner of a local business. Mr. Jackson was of the Baptist faith and loved music and playing his guitar.

He is survived by the family he adored, his wife, Carol S. Jackson of Lizella; his daughter, Jennifer Jackson Gardner of Lizella; the grandchildren who were the light of his life, Greer Evelyn Gardner and Gavin Daniel Gardner, both of Lizella; his sister, Beverly Jackson (Walter) Bryant of Lawrenceville and several nieces and nephews.
