Fritz Dominique Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 10, 2018.

Fritz I. Dominique, 81, of Plantation passed away on January 5, 2018. He was born on January 3, 1937 in Cap Haitian, Haiti. Fritz was the third son of Alexandre Dominique and Ina Arty Dominique.

He moved to Port Au Prince in order to finish school. Fritz met Marie on May 19th, 1962. It was love at first sight, they married on April 4, 1964 in New York City. They became the parents of three sons, Fritz, Marc, and David. Fritz moved to Europe with his family to work as a Diplomat at the Haitian Consulate in Paris. Marie stood by Fritz from the beginning to the end. She has been a rock throughout the whole time. Their love for each other was great. As the saying goes "A man will never stay with a woman he doesn't love and the same holds true for a woman."

Fritz is survived by his loving wife, Marie; sons, Fritz (Bea) Dominique, Marc (Melissa) Dominique and David Dominique; grandchildren, Danielle and Chloe; three sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; cousins; and host of friends.

Fritz never wanted for anything. He was quite a comedian and a "bon vivant". He enjoyed spending time with his friends and spoke to them quite often. He was loved very much and will be missed by all.
Fritz left us not because he wanted to but because it was the will of God. The memories of Fritz will never die. He has gone to join his brothers, Mark, Reynolds and Charles. His brothers are probably saying "it was about time now the party will start".
