Gabriel was born and raised in Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines. He was named after the Saint of their town chapel "San Gabriel". He was born on March 24, 1942 and reached the age of 75 at the time of death.
His friends called him "Boyie" in the Philippines and his nickname became "Gabby" when he moved here to California.
He was the 4th among seven siblings with 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
He graduated from Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines. He worked for MERALCO Electric Company for 30 years. He was married to Lourdes Atienza Aguinaldo and was blessed with three children: Bernadette D. Bufete, Reimon Del Rosario and Hiram Del Rosario.
He has five grandchildren: Ogella Anne D. Bufete and Kirsten Kelly D. Bufete from Bernadette and son-in-law Raul G. Bufete. Ranan Thomas C. Del Rosario, Rose Marielle C. Del Rosario, Ria Grace C. Del Rosario from Reimon and daughter-in- law Ellen Cornejo Del Rosario.
Gabby is a man with a golden heart. He enjoys being around with others and loves to offer help whenever he can.
He was a good provider for his wife, children, and grandchildren.
He loves to sing and loves to listen to music of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Barbara Streisand.
Gabby is a good man who has touched so many lives. He will surely be missed...
Gabby was prepared spiritually for a peaceful death and everlasting life with God. Amen
