Carol
I just heard. I am so sorry but I know you did everything within your power to make Gary's life good. He fought a long, hard battle and you were there with him the whole way. He is probably up there right now praising God for the gift of you in his life.
I am so sorry I cannot be with you tomorrow. I will be in Chicago but I will be praying for you. May God bless you and your family and give you peace.

Carol, Gary and Eric, I am so sorry for your loss. Carol you and Gary took a young guy under your wing and befriended my family and I. We had many many good times down at the lake, in the camp ground, sailing and on the beach. I still love the story of the first time I brought my orange Hobie down to the lake and couldn't sail up the lake, because I didn't know what the heck I was doing. Gary got a kick out of that. He couldn't understand why the new kid on the block didn't want to come down and play with the others.

I'm sorry I won't make the services. I'm going to try and see Eric and Kim tonight. When the good Lord wants someone to join Him, he doesn't check everyone's schedule. And that is rightly so, because this moment is between Gary and his Lord. I just hope the good Lord knows what he is in for. :) God Bless you all. John Fletcher
