Gary Leonard Blalock, Jr., 37, of Pearland, passed away July 28, 2016. He was born in Houston, Texas on August 8, 1978 to Gary Leonard Blalock, Sr. and Jae Linn Blalock DeSelle. Gary worked as a pipe fitter in the plant settings such as Sunoco/Braskem and Chevron Phillips. He volunteered for the Houston and Pasadena Rodeo for 10 years but his greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his son, Austin. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Merida Blalock; maternal grandparents, Jack and Rose King; stepfather, Wayne DeSelle. He is survived by his father, Gary Leonard Blalock, Sr. and wife Ora; mother, Jae Linn DeSelle; son, Austin James Blalock; stepbrothers, Roman Steszewski and wife Linda, Nick Steszewski, Adrian Steszewski and wife Lindsay; stepsisters, Andrea Stanley, Sarah Rios and husband Sean; He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make donations to the 100 Club of Houston in the name of Gary Leonard Blalock.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598. Memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
