Gary Howard Chambers, II, 55, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, OH. Funeral services will be 10 AM on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Crouse-Kauber-Sammons Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Johnstown, OH, with Rev. Michael Rector officiating. Entombment will be in Green Hill cemetery.
Gary was born in Newark, OH. He graduated from Worthington High School in the class of 1975, he attended Otterbein University, where he played football, he also attended The Ohio State University. Currently he was employed by Tech International, Johnstown, OH. He was an avid golfer, loved The Ohio State Buckeyes, and he lived life to the fullest.
He is survived by his daughter, Alexis (Joel) Kessler of Spanish Fort, AL, and their children, J.J. and Hayden, son, Josh of Johnstown, and his son, Zach, mother, Ellen (Ray) Klepinger of Worthington, brother, Mike Chambers of Johnstown, and his children, Ben, Frank, Falynn, Ava, and Gianna, sister, Lisa (Jason) Jones of Worthington, and their children, Kattie, Molly, and Erin, Aunt, Cheryl Poulton, of Johnstown, and her daughter, Nikki (Dan) Layne of SC, and their children, Harlie, Hannah, and Daniel. Preceded in death by two children, Zachary "Zach" and Alisha Chambers, Father, Gary Howard Chambers, Sr., grandmother, Pauline Chambers-Yost, brother, Frank Chambers, granddaughter, Kaitlyn.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Gary to the Nationwide Children's Hospital, 700 Children's Dr., Columbus, OH 43205.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Gary. I knew him a long time when we were kids in school. Including high school. I am the person with Gary at the prom. We had so much fun. Though we have not seen each other since 1959, I think of you. Please know how sorry I am to learn of Gary. The last time I saw "Little Gary", as he was called, he was sitting in his high chair in your parents' home. You and your mother were enamored with him and doing your best to spoil him.
