i had the honor of knowing Gary for a couple of years at TSA. He was always a joy to talk to especially when it comes to family, he would come out on the lanes (as he say making his rounds), greet me with this big smile. I would say "hi Gary" and he always replied hey girl. then we would just talk about his family and share pictures. I truly miss Gary and my prayers are with his family

Gary was an excellent leader. Im truly happy about the time that I had him as a superior. He was a credit to everyone he worked with and all the uniforms he had worn. I greatly respected him during the time I served with him at IAD.

I had the honor of working for Gary for many years at TSA and that opportunity changed my life in many ways.
Gary always had a story to share that would add meaning to every situation be it good or bad.
I have shared many of these moments with my family over the years begining each one with Gary was a small man in stature but he had a larger that life message to pass on to all of us.
Miss you my friend !

Thank you Gary for helping my husband I convince each other that we should get together. We will always remember your laugh, especially after taking a sip of your well earned Starbuck's coffee/scone, your love for Cream, your stories that you told over and over but never were dull, the Zest soap that you claimed you washed your hair with, all of the guitar playing at my folks house, your troll doll (for luck)...we loved you like our own and will miss you. Rest in peace Boss. Kathy and Ben McGee

Gary and I were born a day apart and we met on first day of 9th Grade at the Famous Bakery in Weehawken before the school bell rang. We've kept in touch over the years and I've looked forward to his emails and occasional phone call.
Gary was a gentle soul: low-key and intelligent and could be very funny. I will miss him and look forward to meeting him again on another plane and in another life.

The vessel that carried him is gone, but the man that is Gary Fiedler will live in everyone who was fortunate enough to meet him. Selfless to his core, Gary lived a life of service to others. Whether serving his country as a Marine in combat, protecting his community as a Law Enforcement Officer and Chief, or providing for the security of the travelling public at TSA, Gary set an example of leadership, compassion, caring and genuine concern from which we all benefited. May God bless him and his family. Semper Fidelis Gary and thank you for everything.

Gary was a good guy. He always made it a point to stop by once a week and say hello to me. Gary would swing by on his way back to visit family on the weekends. We would talk about football and he'd always end our conversation with a joke before heading out. Its people like Gary who made the difference.

Gary and I worked together for TSA for ten years, it was an experience of a life time! Gary was a thoughtful, caring gentlemen with a kind heart. Gary always spoke of his children and showed pictures of his grandchildren which always brought a smile to his face and a beam of pride in his eyes. One thing is for sure he has made his mark on this earth and his memory will live on. My condolences to his family. May he rest in peace...

Throughout much of my youth, I looked to Gary as a sort of mentor. He was really in to Rock 'n' Roll music and started me on that same path. When I lived in the Hackensack area, I would hang out with Gary and his family. Sadly we lost touch with each other when I moved away.
Gary was a great guy, a great father and friend. He will be missed.

I am truly saddened by Gary's passing, yet am especially thankful to have known such a special man and served beside him with TSA at Dulles Airport. I will always remember how he used to walk the entire checkpoint in the early days, shaking every officers hand, saying good morning and thanking each and every officer for a job well done. There are few very special people that we come across in our lifetime's, and I can honestly say the Gary Feidler is on one of those few.

Rest in peace Gary. Now it's my turn to offer that hand shake and say "Thank you" to you Sir, for a life well served. Thank you for all that you have done for the people that you have touched in your life and your service to the United States of America. I will never forget you!!!!
