I met and talked with Gary many times over the last 20 odd years. He was ALWAYS had the most genuine, friendly and kind
demeanor of anyone in the room.I repeat
that I never heard him EVER say a vile
word about anyone. He was so full of life radiated LOVE for his Wife, Nunni.
We talked many times. He imparted his knowledge and insight into question I
might have with a comforting delivery.
He was what I like to call a Man's man,
without any macho ego.I have lost a friend, the world has lost a Bright Light and Dear Nunni and Gary's family
have lost a priceless human being. All too sudden to process. With tears in my eyes, I wish Comfort and Solace to Nunni and Family for this tragic loss.
In Respectful Loving Memory, forever.

I am truely sorry for your loss. I know I am late to respond but know that as soon as I saw the post I had to let you know that I will miss throwing with a good man. I love to talk with Gary about his job as he would whip me at darts. And he had an open ear to my job as a mechanic as well. He will be missed!

I still remember back in '93 when he asked me to come up to throw A league darts with his team just forming at WEOH. What a leader. My favorite memory was playing 2x01 with 182 left, he tossed 120 with a dart left and looked at me to ask if I was OK with a 2. Sure, he hit his 180 and I took it out next dart. Those were the days. RIP friend.

I have known Gary for only a short time, about 8 or 9 months. We came to know each other while playing on the same APA pool team. In that interval, I came to respect him as an excellent player and hard worker. Gary was always calm and matter-of-fact. Throughout our entire acquaintance, I never heard him whine about anything.
There were weeks during our pool league play where Gary would appear for a match, play, and then drive 3 or 4 hours to reach a job site where he had to operate a crane the next day. He was a guy who just did what had to be done and never complained.
My sympathies go out to Gary's family. My prayers are with you all as you cope with the loss of your most loved partner, anchor, and friend.

Although I met Gary only about six months ago when he and I joined the same pool team, Gary and I quickly became friends. He was always a uplifting presence and the guy to go to for a win when we really needed it. What a sweet guy and pal. Gary will be very missed. My sympathies to his wife Nunnie and son Gary.

What a shock! I enjoyed throwing darts with Gary, once we won $5.00, I tore the five in half and gave Gary his share. Every time we saw each other we'd laugh. I can hear his voice now. What a good sport. I am so sorry for your loss.
