So sorry to hear about Gay. I am so glad I got to have a visit with him last September at the Slaymaker reunion. I only remember him as a teenager when we were all so full of it. It sounds like he turned into a wonderful man. May your memories stay with you always.

Daddy,

I love you soo much. It comforts me knowing you are no longer in pain and at peace. I know you didn't want to leave your family that you treasured. But I also know you didn't really leave us, you will be with us in every step we take. I will treasure the past 2 weeks I spent with you in the hospital watching "America's Funniest Home Videos" sitting next to you hoping to hear you laugh just 1 more time which you did. I am truely grateful for the life and memories you've given us. It was and always will be an honor to call you dad.

I love you

Your little girl Connie

Down a road that's calm and peaceful,
Guided by God's loving hand,
He has gone upon a journey,
To a distant, brighter land.

My love and prayers are with you all...

And although your hearts are heavy,
With the sorrow you still bear,
I pray you find the greatest comfort,
Knowing you will meet him there.
