Gayle Smith Howe, 86, of Miami Dr., died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility. Mrs. Howe was born in Bedford, IN. on November 18, 1925 the daughter of the late Stacey and Altha Meadows Smith. She had worked as a clerical worker in medical records. Mrs. Howe attended Garden City Church of Christ. A private service will be conducted Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Garland Brook Mausoleum Chapel with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Entombment will be in Garland Brook Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl St. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial...
Gayle Smith Howe, 86, of Miami Dr., died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mrs. Howe was born in Bedford, IN. on November 18, 1925 the daughter of the late Stacey and Altha Meadows Smith.
She had worked as a clerical worker in medical records.
Mrs. Howe attended Garden City Church of Christ.
A private service will be conducted Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Garland Brook Mausoleum Chapel with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.
Entombment will be in Garland Brook Mausoleum.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl St.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mrs. Howe is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Don) Masters of Knoxville, TN., Beverly (Dan) Staring of Lenoir, NC and Barbara (Scott) McCullough of Boca Raton, FL.; a son, Michael (Debra) Howe of Knoxville, TN.; a sister, Mary Alice Voyles of Columbus, IN.; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Mrs. Howe was also preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
