Genevieve O. "Dolly" Talarico, age 98 of Newtown, died on Monday at the Lutheran Home, Southbury. She was the wife of the late Vincent J. Talarico, Sr. Dolly was born January 10, 1914 in Danbury, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmella (Mazza) Baldasare. A lifelong area resident, she loved spending special times with her family, cooking, and was an avid Yankees fan. Dolly was born January 10, 1914 in Danbury, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmella (Mazza) Baldasare. A lifelong area resident, she loved spending special times with her family, cooking, and was an avid Yankees fan.
Dolly is survived by her daughter Jean Passero (Mark), daughter- in- law Sally Talarico, 8 grandchildren: Donna Talarico, Jim Talarico (Michelle), Lucas Talarico, Wes Kennen (Melanie), Hugh Kennen (Kristy), Marci O'Kane (Patrick), Meg Otton (Doug), Kristen Kennen, 8 great grandchildren: Zachary Kapple, Joseph Kennen, Gabrielle Passarelli, Sophie Kennen, Evelyn, Faelinn, and Deaglan O'Kane, Vinny Talarico, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Dolly was predeceased by her son Vincent J. Talarico, Jr, as well as two brothers and three sisters.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
