Geoffrey Arnold Kilpatrick died April 10, 2014, in his home in Surprise, Arizona. Geoff was born January 27, 1937, in Nyack, New York, to Mildred Nurse Kilpatrick and Dr. O. Arnold Kilpatrick. Geoff had an older brother, Brian and a younger brother, Daniel. He attended Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, New York, and graduated in 1955 from the Oakwood Prep School in Poughkeepsie, New York. He attended Hobart College in Geneva, New York. Geoffrey Arnold Kilpatrick died April 10, 2014, in his home in Surprise, Arizona. Geoff was born January 27, 1937, in Nyack, New York, to Mildred Nurse Kilpatrick and Dr. O. Arnold Kilpatrick. Geoff had an older brother, Brian and a younger brother, Daniel. He attended Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, New York, and graduated in 1955 from the Oakwood Prep School in Poughkeepsie, New York. He attended Hobart College in Geneva, New York.

While attending Roosevelt High School, Geoff played two years of varsity football and golf. He also played two years of varsity football and golf at The Oakwood Prep School. At age thirteen, Geoff saved another boy from drowning in the Hackensack River. He was awarded a lifesaving badge from the Boy Scouts of America. Later, as an adult, Geoff was an active Boy Scout Leader, a volunteer fireman for the town of Rhinebeck, New York, served in the National Guard, 156th Field Artillery, B=Battery and was a member of AA for 39 years. He enjoyed working with his hands and restored and remodeled some of his own homes. His pride and joy was seeing his children grow and succeed in life. Those who knew Geoff will remember his sense of humor and the gentleman he always was.

Geoff had over thirty-five years of experience in the healthcare industries. He traveled the US and many International countries. Over the years he introduced several healthcare products to the US markets. He formed a partnership with two others and invented a product for the coagulation market. In 1993, he and his wife moved to Arizona where Geoff started his own business, Kilpatrick & Associates, as a sales representative for manufacturers in the healthcare industry. He successfully continued the business until his health began to fail. In 2011 his failing health forced him into retirement.

Geoff had three children from a previous marriage, Kevin, Karen and Michael. Geoff remarried in 1977 to Yvonne Yorty O'Neil.

Geoff is survived by his wife, Yvonne Kilpatrick; his son, Kevin (Denise) Kilpatrick of Merrimack, NH; his daughter, Karen (David) LaPlante of Clinton, NY; Michael Kilpatrick of Long Beach, CA and Christopher (April) O'Neil of Woodbridge, VA. Geoff is also survived by his brother, Dan (Linda) Kilpatrick of Rhinebeck, NY, two nieces, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and four great nieces and nephews.

Geoff was preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Brian.

Geoff's wishes were to be cremated and his ashes to be buried in the Kilpatrick family plot in the Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a future date in Poughkeepsie, New York.
