WRIGHT, George David, age 57 of Huber Heights, formerly of Fairborn, passed away unexpectedly as the result of an accident on Sunday, December 31, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Geraldine Combs and George Washington Wright; daughter, Laura Wright; and granddaughter, Cory Wright. David is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lisa K. Wright; sons, Shane Wright & girlfriend Ashley Herman of Vandalia and Michael & Anna Wright of Cedarville; daughters, Angela & Travis Kehl of Huber Heights and Cheyenne Raleigh of Huber Heights; 9 grandchildren, Chase, Cole, Kelsey, Zoeii, Ari, Lucas, Ava, Allen, and Peyton "Lil' P"; sisters, Theresa Barker D'Anjou of Las Vegas and Lisa & Jeffery Fugate of Huber Heights; 1 brother; 28 nieces and nephews; numerous cousins; best friend, Steve Ballard; many other friends; and granddog, Rocky. He was a 1978 graduate of Fairborn Baker HS. David was a US Army Veteran reaching the rank of SGT, and a retired Union Carpenter Local 104. He was a member of the Buckeye Harley Davidson Hog Group and was a Road Captain. David was a loving husband, dad, and papaw. His family will receive friends Monday, January 8, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Pentecostal Church of God, 552 Fairfield Ave, Fairborn. Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the church with Pastor Micah Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Dayton National Cemetery at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family via Burcham Tobias Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Condolences may be expressed at www.burchamtobiasfuneralhome.com.
