Am so sorry to hear about Roy's death. He was an outstanding person. He was one of the most die heart Alabama fans that I ever knew.
Please share my prayers and thoughts with your Mother and siblings.

My Uncle Roy was more than an Uncle to me, when I was a kid he was more like a Father, riding me on his bicycle and teaching me to play football. He would throw passes to me all day, until my chest was red and raw from catching the football. My Mother, his sister, would scold him for throwing the football so hard and from far away but I loved those times. To this day I can still catch most anything thrown my way though I have lost a few steps speed wise. As I grew up I would caddy for him most weekends at the old Lion's Club Golf Course on Victory Drive, before his children were old enough to caddy. George Roy Douglas Livingston was a great man and a really good artist and he taught me to draw when I was a young man; he was a huge influence in my life and the Father figure I so sorely needed when I was growing up. I loved him dearly and will forever be grateful for all the time and patience he so lovingly and willingly gave me as a child. Rest in peace, Uncle Roy and Roll Tide.
