George R. Allenbach II of Boulder, CO passed away on December 4, 2009.
George was born on February 5, 1936 to George R. Allenbach and Irene Richardson Allenbach in Pueblo, CO. He served in the Navy from 1954-1958. George married Marilyn O'Connor on August 6, 1960 in Pueblo, CO. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University and worked at I.B.M. as an electrical engineer for 27 years. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of South Pueblo for 50 years.
George loved living in Colorado and was a Denver Bronco season ticket holder for 30 years. He loved being a Grandpa and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed golf, jazz music and traveling to Germany.
Survivors include his wife Marilyn; children Erin Gill (Patrick), Morgen L'Heureux (Lon) and George Allenbach (Karla); brother Greg Allenbach; sisters Constance Duke, Kay Gillen and Linda Allenbach; grandchildren Justine and Ashlynn Allenbach, and Brendon and Jacob L'Heureux.
Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Pl., Boulder, CO 80301. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 10th at Crist Mortuary. Interment will be at Green Mountain Cemetery.
