I remember in 1996 when we all(Steven Anderson Sr., Susan Anderson, Sean Anderson, Shelly Blafas(Anderson), Aunt Annette and Uncle George) drove up the mountain. It was just getting colder and colder, but you was prepared, you had jackets for all of us. I will miss you dearly even though we did not spend alot of time together, to me you will always be my Uncle George.

George will truly be missed by all his Nebraska friends. His hospitality and good-natured teasing of us Huskers was enjoyed over many years. His gold blazer, cowboy hat, and signature "GO BUFFS!" will be remembered with a smile. Now George and his old friend WF can get into all the mischief and pumpkin pie they want!

George was a true gentleman. I met him numerous times over the 40 + years I have known Mike. He was truly a wonderful man and the world was a much better place because of him. " George, look up Walt Mitchell in your spare time up in Heaven. " I have already shed a tear in hearing of your passing. GOD SPEED!
