George P. Bacich, a long time resident and native to Sacramento, passed away at the age of 91. During WWII, George served his country in the Army, and he retired from the Sacramento City Fire Department after 32 years of service in 1979, and was also known to be an avid bowler. He is preceded in death by his parents Tony and Vica Bacich, and his siblings Phyllis and John. George is survived by his long time companion of over 37 years, Carmen Cory; and his cousins Alice Ruzir of Sacramento, and Frank Zelimir of Yugoslavia. A cryptside service for George will be held on Tues, Oct 29 at 12:30pm at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave in Sacramento.

I didn't know Geoege very well but had the pleasure of knowing him thru his companion Carmen..Rest in peace George..We all will see you someday..Till then !!
