George Joseph Camino, 81, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Emerald Health Care in Port St Lucie, FL. George was born and lived in Schenectady, NY until retiring in 1999 to Fort Pierce, FL. George served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Prior to retirement, George was a Defense Attorney with a private practice for 40 years and a Public Defender for 10. He also served as the Republican Town and County Chairman in Schenectady and was a past President of Pine Haven Country Club. George held a 100 Ton Masters Captains license and was a member of Rotary, Lions, Elks, and Italian American Club, US Power Squadron...

George was born and lived in Schenectady, NY until retiring in 1999 to Fort Pierce, FL.

George served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Prior to retirement, George was a Defense Attorney with a private practice for 40 years and a Public Defender for 10. He also served as the Republican Town and County Chairman in Schenectady and was a past President of Pine Haven Country Club. George held a 100 Ton Masters Captains license and was a member of Rotary, Lions, Elks, and Italian American Club, US Power Squadron and the Schenectady Bar Association. George enjoyed boating, motorcycles and snow skiing.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Camino of Fort Pierce, FL, sons, Thomas Camino of Gloversville, NY, Daniel Camino of Broadalbin, NY, Steven Camino of Shenectady, NY, daughters, Kathleen Camino of Gloversville, NY, Juley Trombley of Broadalbin, NY, along with Jo Ann's daughter's Robin Camino Rose, of Rochester, NY, Kimberly Ringer of Schenectady, NY and Lisa Oswald of Bethesda, MD, sister Anna Anderson and 21 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time.


Arrangements are under the care of Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce, FL.
