Services for George Eilane Edquist, age 90, of Tyler are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darryl Dunks officiating. Interment will follow in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery. Mrs. Edquist passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in Tyler. She was born on August 26, 1921 to the late George S. and Edith Foster Job in Tishomingo, OK. Mrs. Edquist resided in El Paso, Texas for most of her life before moving to Tyler eight years ago. Mrs. Edquist passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in Tyler.
She was born on August 26, 1921 to the late George S. and Edith Foster Job in Tishomingo, OK.
Mrs. Edquist resided in El Paso, Texas for most of her life before moving to Tyler eight years ago. She was a retired elementary school teacher for the El Paso Public School District. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward R. Edquist.
She is survived by her children, Sandy Kretzschmar and husband Ruben of North Bend, Oregon; Roberta Andrews and husband Dale of Natalia; Wade Bolling and wife Deborah Merzbach of Aurora, Colorado; and Shauna Emery and husband Mark of Tyler; six grandchildren; Cori Bitterman, Brandon Bolling, Lisa-Merzbach Bolling, Jessica Emery, Beth Anne Smith and Sarah Bernfeld; and two great grandchildren; Dakota Bitterman and Ida Smith.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 Saturday, May 5, 2012 prior to the service.
