Beloved husband to Elaine (Elaineoh, Babe). Adored father to Tracy (Punkie) and Rich Tartaglia (Knuckle-head) as well as to Ardith and Michael Plimack, Gwynne and Mike Karchem, Evan and Stacey Levy and Darren Levy ("my pal"). Devoted and loving grandfather and Papa to Nicholas, Alex and Giovanni Tartaglia, Hannah and Elana Plimack, Jordyn, Samantha (Firecracker) and Blake Levy (The Professor) and Lindsey (Lindz) and Rylen Karchem (RJ). He leaves a much loved sister, Barbara (Bud) Rigdon and Jim (Donna) Marlow along with Gail and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly cherished. George was a man for all seasons. His many...

Devoted and loving grandfather and Papa to Nicholas, Alex and Giovanni Tartaglia, Hannah and Elana Plimack, Jordyn, Samantha (Firecracker) and Blake Levy (The Professor) and Lindsey (Lindz) and Rylen Karchem (RJ).

He leaves a much loved sister, Barbara (Bud) Rigdon and Jim (Donna) Marlow along with Gail and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly cherished.

George was a man for all seasons. His many business associates, valued clients, his partner Dominic Massoni and Alan Checchi, his secretary Sandra Murai and every employee were a source of community and friendship.

All of his caretakers and all of his medical care delivery team became friends and never tired of answering his call button. Robert Torres and David Henry were friends and companions who could make him laugh and enjoy their time and talks together. May they be blessed for all the joy and security they brought into his life (along with the donuts).

George entered the Heavenly Gates on May 13, 2012. He was the most courageous, positive man around; he made living life in a wheelchair look easy. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and a life well lived. May he rest in peace knowing that he will live ever in our hearts and memories. Godspeed, Jo Jo!!
