Dear Louise, we are so sorry to hear of your loss of George. I saw him most frequently, working out, at the Michigan Athletic Club and East Lansing Rotary. With no joint problems, never had the chance to see him as an outstanding orthopedic surgeon but consider him one of the nicest, most friendly and interesting persons I know. We will miss him very much. Our deepest sympathy to you and your wonderful family.

My deepest sympathy to the Stilwill family. I will truly miss George's smiling face at the MAC and the L'Arbre Croche beach. If I had to describe him in one word it would be "caring." Always such a warm and genuine person to be around. Praise God for the gift of George's long and well lived life. My prayers are with you during this difficult time. Jeri Johnson

To the Family of Dr. Stillwill,
I worked with this fine Dr and truly a gentleman for several years as a manager on the orthopedic floor at Sparrow. He was true to his calling as a physician. A wonderful person to those he worked with and to the untold number of lives he touched as an orthopedic surgeon. I will miss our talks at the MAC.

It has been such an honor to have known both George and Louise for so many years. We have enjoyed many cul-de-sac pot lucks, picnics on the beach, beach parties and related LAC activities these past many years.
We will never forget driving into Harbor Springs many years ago and passing the two of you riding into town!! From that moment on, you have been such an inspiration to both of us.
We will have a wealth of memories of you both and your family at L'Arbre Croche.
George was always a great and inspiring man.
