Thinking of George today,
I remember George taking me under his wing when I was transferred to Oshawa with Commercial Credit. I will never forget our time together meeting his girls and sharing a game of golf.

Mrs. Thomson & Family,
I remember the first day I started work with Commercial Credit in Oshawa in 1972 as his Asst Mgr. It was my first transfer from Windsor. He made me feel very welcome. Marge and George helped develop my skills and I am proud to say he had an influence on my career which continues in Alberta. I had the chance to meet Gillian one afternoon as he stopped off to get his golf clubs. I remember his warm friendly smile and his jolly laugh. My thoughts are with you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We were so saddened to hear of George's passing. For as little time we spent with him - he was always such a gentleman.
Again our condolences, and please let us know if we can be of help.

What a truly heart wrenching shock to open our E-Mail and hear of our dear friend George's passing. So many wonderful memories of all the quality times shared, are flooding back and which will remain with us for a lifetime.
Not being able to get home in time for the service is bothering us, but know this, our thoughts will be with you constantly as you go through this very sad time. A wonderful man, a true friend who will be missed so very much.
May god bless & be with you.

Dear Linda,
Sorry we can't be there at this time to share your grief.
George was one of a kind and we will miss him, his sharp wit, our bridge games and our exchange of email messages, which we both enjoyed.
