Gerald "Jerry" L. Bramel, 61, of Old Main Street died Sunday, November 18, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Bramel worked at Peg's Place in May's Lick and for the Mason County Landfill. He was a member of the Millcreek Christian Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jerry was born in Mason County, Kentucky on February 5, 1951 the son of Anna Florence Bramel of Maysville and the late Gerald Ross Bramel. Besides his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Gera Bramel of Maysville; two grandchildren, Kyle Stemple of Riverside, Ohio and Sydney Bramel of Maysville and one sister, Laura Doyle (Mike) of May's Lick. Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by his brother Michael Bramel in 1975. Funeral services for Jerry Bramel will be held at the Knox and Brothers Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2012 with Rev. Marty Voiers officiating. Burial will be in the Wedonia Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. Memorials may be made to the Millcreek Christian Church, 6861 KY 11, May's Lick, Kentucky 41055 or to Hospice of Hope, 909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville, KY 41056.
