GERALD L. "JERRY" COWLES, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 with his daughter Karen by his side at Parkview Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 18, 1934 and retired from International Harvester. He was a member of American Legion Post #47. Surviving are his children, Mike (Sue) Cowles; Zack Lothamer; Neil (Lori) Cowles; Karen (Ron) Lutz; Pat Lothamer; jackie (Pete) O'Connell; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; sister, Dela Davenport. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Bonnie who passed away in April of last year. Memorial service is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., with visitation one hour prior to service
