Gerald Howard Lurie



Author, fisherman, lover, husband, father, brother, horseman, poker player, soldier, newsman, videographer, matchmaker, comedian, sportsman, historian, traveler and a really great guy.



Jerry Lurie passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 12, 2012 at the young age of 84. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Jerry is survived by his extended
family including Karen Friend, Michael Lurie, Glenn and Serena Lurie, Elizabeth and Mark Handwerker. Ethel Harrison, Jean Tuber and his four beloved grandchildren Alaric, Sapphira, John, and Robert. Jerry was predeceased by his wife of 41 years Roberta Lurie.



Services will be 11AM, Monday, 10/15/12 at Riverside Gordon funeral chapel 5900 SW 77 Ave, Miami.
