QUINN, Gerald Nathan Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday, April 4th, 2012 at The Wynfield Nursing Home. Survived by his loving wife, Clotilde (nee Heffernan) and devoted care giver of 55 years. Sadly missed by his children Joanne Jones, Linda and Brian Hopkins, Joe and Laura Quinn, and Mark and Mimi Quinn. Proud Papa to Derrick, Ryan, Natalie, Laura, Brett, Max and Mariana. Predeceased by his parents John and Hazel Quinn. Survived by brothers-in-law Reverend Raymond Heffernan, Vince Heffernan (Alice), Cletus Sullivan and sister-in-law Marie Heffernan. Predeceased by his parents John and Hazel Quinn. Survived by brothers-in-law Reverend Raymond Heffernan, Vince Heffernan (Alice), Cletus Sullivan and sister-in-law Marie Heffernan. Predeceased by sister Margaret Calnan (Dan), Frances Scully (Leo), and brothers John and Peter. Also predeceased by sister-in-law Marie Moher (Richard), Marguerite Sullivan and brother-in-law Frank Heffernan. Gerald was a long time employee of General Motors for 43 years. The family is grateful for the compassionate care given by staff at The Wynfield Nursing Home, Oshawa. Visitation will be held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, April 9th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. GERTRUDE'S PARISH (690 King St. E., Oshawa) on Tuesday, April 10th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to the St. Gertrude's Renovation Fund or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
