Age 88 of Farmersville, Ohio and formerly of Miamisburg passed away on Monday, March 3, 2014. She was born on January 10, 1926 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late, Jacob L. and Gillian (Gabbard) Thomas. Also preceding her in death is husband, Ralph E. Ney in 2002. Geraldine is survived by son, Steven R. (Beverly) Ney of Miamisburg; daughters, Linda S. Frazier of Lexington, Kentucky, and Nancy L. Kisling of Farmersville; grandchildren, Crystal and Amanda Ney; brother, Jack L. (Sophia) Thomas; niece, Becky (Wes) Williams; nephews, Brian Thomas, Ed (Jodi) Miller and many other extended family and friends. Geraldine was a member of Delta Sigma Sorority and has been a long time member of Liberty United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank Senior Helpers and Brian Thomas for all of their wonderful care and support. "Thank you to our mother for all of her wonderful and colorful stories and her sense of humor. Both will be missed by all of us." Friends and family may visit from 11am-1pm on Friday, March 7 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, 508 East Linden Ave Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. Funeral service will be 1 pm also on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Glen Swigart officiating. Interment following at Hillgrove Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be given to Liberty United Methodist Church, 7840 Pemberton Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45417, in memory of Geraldine.
