"You never have friends like the friends you had when 12 years old" - a quote from the movie "Stand by Me" . Jerry was one of those friends and just as adventurous as the movie kids! I know. We had a few bicycle adventures of our own. And like the movie kids we all dispersed from Penn Ave into our adult lives to cherish the memories forever. Enjoy your new home in God's kingdom Jerry.

We have lots of memories with Aunt Irene and the Pawloski kids. Those were the days when families went and visited on Sunday afternoon. I have seen Jerry 4 times in the last year. My sister, Pat, and I go down on S. Division to hand out food and treats to the people on the street. We ran into Jerry one day, purely by accident. After that I looked for him and we would talk. He was godfather for my oldest son, Rick in 1965. May he rest in eternal peace and may you find comfort in the many family memories. Love you all -- Carol Barber
