Gilles Caron, May 17th at the Montreal General Hospital after a short, brave battle with cancer, his beloved and grieving wife Jane Williams at his side. He is deeply mourned by his family: brother André Caron (Hélène Surprenant) and nephews Jocelyn and Alexandre; sisters and brother-in-law Megan Williams, Peter Williams (Jude) and Mary Williams (Robert Lecker), and his nieces and nephews Jesse (Michelle Forward) and Maya (Peter Duke) Williams, Zoe Morrison, Isaac Siemens (Veronica Simmonds), Emily (Leam Venafro) and Claire Lecker. His many friends are also grieving his loss, as are his colleagues at SGT 2000. Donations to the Montreal General Hospital Foundation, 1650 Cedar Ave., Suite E6-129, Montreal H3G 1A4, specified for the MUHC Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
Visitation: Thursday, May 23, 2pm-5pm & 7pm-9pm Friday, May 24, 10am-Noon
Followed by chapel service: Friday, May 24 at 12 Noon

À Montréal, le 17 mai à l'Hôpital Général de Montréal, est décédé Gilles Caron à l'âge de 61 ans, après une courte mais courageuse bataille contre le cancer, accompagné de son aimante épouse Jane Williams. Il est tristement regretté par sa famille : son frère André Caron (Hélène Surprenant), ses neveux Jocelyn et Alexandre Caron, ses cousins Yves, Daniel, Charles et Beaudoin Caron ainsi que ses belles-sœurs et beaux-frères Megan Williams, Peter Williams (Jude) et Mary Williams (Robert Lecker), ses nièces et neveux Jesse (Michelle Forward) et Maya (Peter Duke) Williams, Zoe Morrison, Isaac Siemens (Veronica Simmonds), Emily (Leam Venafro) et Claire Lecker. Ses nombreux amis pleurent également son départ tout comme ses collègues chez SGT 2000.

Jane, My heartfelt sympathy. I had the pleasure of meeting Gilles through my association with Phi Kappa Pi. It has been a few years since I last saw Gilles but I will always remember his smile and sense of humour.
