Gladys L. Baldus
January 4, 1915 – January 4, 2018
Gladys was born in Chicago, Illinois to Louise and Thomas Green. The middle child of three children, brother, Marshall and sister, Vivian. As a young woman, she became a supervisor at Mars Candy Company where she met her future husband, Ivan, and married in 1943. They never had any children but had 10 nieces and nephews, 8 that are still living in other parts of the country.
Ivan retired from the Mars Candy Company in 1962 and they relocated to Eagle River Wisconsin where they enjoyed the next twenty years of retirement. They relocated to Mesa, Arizona where they lived until Ivan’s passing in 1994.
Gladys relocated to Rancho Bernardo in 2000 where she took up residence at The Remington Club. She wanted to be close to family and friends, The Belzer’s, who looked after Gladys in her later years.
