Funeral services for Gladys Adkins, 75, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011
at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bernard Powers and Rev. Randy Seybert officiating.
Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 pm Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Mrs. Adkins passed away April 14, 2011 in Bossier City. She was a homemaker and a resident of Bossier City since 1972.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marlon Adkins; daughter, Donna Wilson, and son-in-law, Joe Tanguma.
Survivors include her children, Robert Disotell and wife Loretta of Taylor, AR; Roger Adkins of Bossier City, LA; Sue Tanguma of Naples, TX; Kerry Adkins and wife Mona of Elm Grove, LA; sister Earline Rushing of Bastrop, LA; brother, Charles Ray Tipton of Monroe, LA; ten grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and numerous friends

Sue & Kerry, Was so sorry to hear of your MOM'S passing. I just heard of it today. She was a very good friend and a co-worker. We became close when I worked with her, Kerry, I enjoyed you visiting my boys and thought a lot of you & Sue. May God be with you'll at this time of a great loss, but she is in God's hands now. Peace be with you and the Family.

Mamaw/Gladys you know we loved you so much and our lives were forever changed because of you -- I may not have made it with out you. Being so far away here in California has been hard to be close but you were always in our thoughts. WE love you

Gladys meant so much to me and was always there when I needed her. She was such an important part of my life and I will miss her and our phone conversations so much. I will always cherish my memories of her. May God give you all comfort and peace. So sorry I can't be there at this time.
