ALDRIDGE, GLADYS TOWERY, 91, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at The Jefferson Place surrounded by her loving family.
She was the former Gladys Robinson and a native of Jackson County, KY. Gladys worked for Kroger Company for over 30 years and was a member of Beechwood Baptist Church. She was an avid bowler, gardener and cook, but the most precious to her were her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Aldridge.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ken W. (Joanne) Towery; grandchildren, Kris (Sarah) Towery, Lorea (Donald) Ware; sisters, Amey Strunk and Maymie Judd; and three great-grandchildren, Trey and Chandler Ware and Suzanna Towery.
Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
