In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband, William Haskell McKeown, Sr.; and her siblings, Ted Grant, Ella Walker, and Jim Grant.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Billie Baynes and husband Ken of Jamestown; sons, Mac McKeown and wife Kathy of Greensboro, Bruce Grant McKeown of New York, NY, and Ray McKeown of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Ken Baynes, Jr. and wife Terri of Jamestown, NC, Kim Bowman and husband Chad of Kernersville, NC, Heather Rhodes and husband Jimmy of High Point, NC, Cameron McKeown of Raleigh, NC, Cory Hicks and his mother Stephanie Hicks of Knoxville, TN; great-grandchildren, Holly Bowman, Justin Baynes, Jackson Bowman, Tyler Rhodes, and Lauren Rhodes, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the caring staff at Adams Farm Living and Rehabilitation Center for their wonderful care.
