Glenda Roberson Nesbit Lanier, 75 of Dubach, LA. ; went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA following a brief illness. Born on February 2, 1939 in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of Elvis and Opal Jennings Roberson. Glenda was currently a member of First united Methodist Church of Dubach where her husband serves as pastor. While residing in El Dorado, Glenda was a school teacher in Norphlet and started South Arkansas School Supply. She was a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Glenda Roberson Nesbit Lanier, 75 of Dubach, LA. ; went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St Francis Medical Center in Monroe, LA following a brief illness.

Born on February 2, 1939 in El Dorado, AR; she was the daughter of Elvis and Opal Jennings Roberson. Glenda was currently a member of First united Methodist Church of Dubach where her husband serves as pastor. While residing in El Dorado, Glenda was a school teacher in Norphlet and started South Arkansas School Supply. She was a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Glenda love reading Christian novels, sewing and music.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, a son Billy Nesbit, her first husband Charles Nesbit, and a sister Connie Roberson.

Survivors are her husband of 27 years Rev Don W. Lanier of Dubach, LA, a daughter Melissa Nesbit Whitlow and husband Stuart of Jacksonville, FL, a brother Roy Roberson of El Dorado, AR, along with grandchildren Connor and Jenna Whitlow.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Young's Funeral Directors Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 9:30 am till 11:30 am followed by an 11:30 am funeral service with Rev. Stuart Whitlow and Rev. Ellen Alston officiating.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Ouachita Baptist University, Music Dept., 410 Ouachita St, Arkadelphia, AR 71998 and Immanuel Baptist Church, 701 S West Ave, El Dorado, AR 71730.
