Obituary

Glenn W. Hudson Jr, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 25th. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma and moved to San Antonio, Texas at the age of 2 years with his parents, Lois Bitterman Hudson and Glenn W. Hudson, Sr. Glenn graduated from Texas A&M in 1943 with a degree in Economics. He served as a Captain in the Field Artillery in World War II. He retired as a Vice President of Briggs Weaver, Inc. in 1984. Glenn served as a past President of the Houston Distributors Association and the National Association of Purchasing Managers. Glenn W. Hudson Jr, of Houston, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 25th. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma and moved to San Antonio, Texas at the age of 2 years with his parents, Lois Bitterman Hudson and Glenn W. Hudson, Sr. Glenn graduated from Texas A&M in 1943 with a degree in Economics. He served as a Captain in the Field Artillery in World War II. He retired as a Vice President of Briggs Weaver, Inc. in 1984. Glenn served as a past President of the Houston Distributors Association and the National Association of Purchasing Managers. Glenn was named Boss of the Year by the National Secretary's Association in 1969 and was a member of the American Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Houston Golf Association, and he was a charter member of Lakeside Country Club. He is survived by his wife Clare Cushman Hudson, son Glenn W. Hudson (Kendra), daughters Lisa Hudson Griggs (John), M'Liss Ann Hudson M.D. and four grandchildren.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June, 29, 2013, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77079.
