Gloria Diane Hucks Cunningham, 67, of Iron Station, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was born in Mecklenburg County and was the daughter of the late James Melvin and Pat Dagenhart Hucks. Mrs. Cunningham is survived by three sons, Tim Cunningham and wife Monica of Iron Station, Scott Cunningham of Stanley, Terry Lee Cunningham and wife Danielle of Williamsburg, Virginia; one brother, Wayne Hucks of Great Falls, Montana; two sisters, Jeanette Miller and husband Bill of Lincolnton, Phyllis Lambright and husband Rev. Ronald of Charlotte; five grandchildren, Tiffany Cunningham, Mallory Cunningham, Billy Cunningham, Dale Cunningham, Kevin Cunningham. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at Carothers Funeral Home, Stanley with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Lambright officiating.
Interment will be private
Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Lee Cunningham; son, Jimmy "Jimbo" Dale Cunningham; brother, Jimmy Hucks; companion, Steve Harrell.
