I still cannot believe you are gone. You were a force larger than life and I loved you dearly. I will always remember everything you taught me and how you treated me and loved me. I will miss you the rest of my life. I will miss sitting up until dawn doing puzzles and laughing uncontrollably. I will miss our outings and the way you loved to shop. I love you more than you could ever know, and I miss you so very much. I love you MeMe, I hope you are with me everyday, as I certainly will be talking to you. Love you with all my heart and soul.

I will remember Gloria always. She was like a second mother to me when she let me stay at her home at the time of a winter snow storm in the 90's. I was stranded in Louisville and unable to get home to Elizabethtown, Ky. I knew her granddaughter, and Gloria graciously invited me to her home to stay several days until the roads had cleared. It is a blessing to know there is an angel in heaven tonight like her. Over the years we became good friends. We were lucky enough to share our birthday together as it was the same as mine and my mother. I will never forget one year we celebrated it together at her home, and enjoyed a beautiful dinner that Gloria had planned out that day. When ever I was invited to her home I was always made to feel like one of the family. I remember pulling into her driveway in the spring and summer, and her yard would have beautiful plants and flowers that she would have planted her self and cared for. She loved her children and grandchildren, and always had their concerns at heart. She was a great friend and will be missed dearly.
