I'm so sorry to hear that My Aunt Gloria has passed. Sadly moving away tends to break family ties, but growing up in the Bronx, our families were very close. Aunt Gloria was another 'mother' to me in our clan and I have many wonderful memories of family outings, holiday gatherings, and trips to Maplecrest (where Uncle Eddy taught me to swim!). I remember enjoying listening to my father and my Aunt Gloria banter loudly and rapidly in Italian! One of Dad's favorite childhood stories was his boasting of the birth of his new baby sister... Gloria, and how he charged the local kids 2 cents each to come into the apartment (on Lurting Ave) to look at her! He never did reveal how much money he made on his kid sister, & when their mom found out what he was doing she put an immediate stop to it! Please know that Janice and I will be in prayer for all of you. No matter how 'prepared' you may think you are, this is a painful and sad time. Always in our prayers, Wayne and Janice Castrovinci

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Maryann - I can remember coming to your house when I was a little girl and mom was always so kind. We would sit in your room for hours and I always felt welcome and safe. You are all blessed to have such a beautiful mother and now she is your guardian angel. My thoughts are with you. Love, Laura
