Gloria Peters, 75, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born February 3, 1936 in Manhattan, New York and had been a one year resident of Nevada. She was a retired Executive Secretary from a Medical College in New York. She is survived by her daughter, Ramona Alicea; son-in-law, Robert Alicea; granddaughter, Jasmine Nicole Alicea; grandson, Christian Robert Alicea; sisters, Virginia Escalera, Irma Bautista, Anna Flores, and Nancy Galindo; and brothers, Conrad Vinales and Felix Vinales. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 3 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm, and Funeral Service on Friday, March 4 at 10:00am, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89129.

I am the grandson of Gloria's brother Felix Vinales, and had only met Gloria a handful of times, mostly as a child. I wish I could have known her better, but thanks to this bio and my grandfather's kind words, i do now. Grandpa Felix always spoke highly of Gloria and i'm thankful to be a part of her family tree and her legacy..R.I.P.-Felix Vinales III
