To the Cruz Family...yesterday I was looking through some special old Christmas cards that I have kept through the years and found one from your family, when your mother and father were still alive. While trying to get in touch with Gloria, I found her obituary from last year. My heart is broken that I missed reconnecting by less than a year. Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of Gloria, a sweet and dear friend from long ago. When I was a student at Moravian College, I used to visit your family on Alaska Street. I remember you all with fondness, and pray that you are all well. I share your sorrow in the loss of dear Gloria, and send you all love, Kathy Leisen Savo

To my beautiful sister. You've been there to laugh with me, to be proud of me, and to be happy for all the good things in my life. And, maybe even more importantly, you've shared my disappointments and listened as I worked out my thoughts and feelings about so many things that troubled me. Gloria you were a very important part of my world, and you always will be, so I want to thank you now and tell you that I hope you're at peace with no more pain or suffering. You were my sis and best friend and am missing our phone chats every day. We will watch over your son Zack and have him in our prayers. A special thank you for your smiles, the laughter, the love for all it means to have you for a sister.
