MacKay, The Rev. Gordon Blaikie, 85, passed away January 30, 2015. Gordon was the retired owner and operator of MacKay Machine Shop. He is preceded in death by parents, Alexander and Isabel and brother, Alexander "Rowland" MacKay. He is survived by wife of 54 years, Phyllis; daughter, Sarah (Tim) Brown and granddaughter Seanna Brown. Services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 4 at Resthaven Mortuary. Mike Hastings
Gordon served on our Board and started the 'Library' at our recycling center. This was where used books and encyclopedias were shelved and organized so people could find what they wanted, take books home and reuse them. We dedicate 'Gordon's Book Nook' to the memory of Gordon MacKay.
