Gordon was born July 10, 1925 in Walkenda, Missouri to William Ray and Viola May Webb. He served in the Air Force, Pacific Campaign in the Philippines during WWII. Gordon married the love of his life, Alta, on September 7, 1954. They moved to the Kansas City area and raised their family. Gordon and Alta were active members of the Victoria Tabernacle Church, now Village West; he taught Sunday School and often ushered during services. He loved gardening, fishing, playing honkey tonk guitar, taking care of his animals (especially his dog, Mandy) and watching baseball and football.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Viola Webb; his wife, Alta Webb and their infant daughter, Debra; three brothers and two sisters.
Gordon is survived by his sons, Mike Webb and his wife Beverly of Olathe, KS and Sam Webb and his wife Cindy of Raymore, MO; seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
