GOSSETT, Grady Douglas Jr. – age 52 of Flushing passed away Friday June 5, 2015. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 9, 2015 from 4PM-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at 11AM with one hour of visitation prior to the service at Reigle Funeral Home – Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI. Burial will take place at Flushing Cemetery. Grady was born in Pontiac, MI on June 15, 1962 to Grady and Corinne (Carris) Gossett Sr. Grady married Diane Macdonald September 22, 1984 at Central Church of the Nazarene in Flint. He worked as a chemical plant manager. He also attended Central Church of the Nazarene in Flint. Grady enjoyed daily motorcycle rides and trips with his friends, especially to Sturgis, South Dakota for motorcycle rallies. He and his wife Diane loved vacationing to Florida, Disneyworld, and going on cruises. First and foremost, Grady cherished his time spent with his family and friends. He was looking forward to meeting his new granddaughter. He was a jack of all trades and one of the hardest workers you could ever know. Grady was always optimistic and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was always the first one to help a family member or friend in need without hesitation. Surviving are his wife Diane Gossett of 30 years; daughters, Rachel Gossett, and Debra (Grant) Coleman; grandson, Weston; granddaughter on the way; father, Grady Gossett Sr. and special friend Donna Kent; sister Cindy (Emmett) Moore; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry (Ardis) Macdonald; life-long friend, Bob Rhoads; and several other special friends and family members. Grady was preceded in death by his mother, Corinne Gossett. Those desiring may make contributions to the family to build an education fund for Grady's grandchildren. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.reiglefuneralhome.com. "When my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Psalm 61:2

Dear Diane, Rachel, Weston, Debra, Grant, baby coming soon, Larry, Ardis, Grady Sr., Donna, Cindy, Moe, and all family members,
We loved Dougie very much. We grieve because we have loved. We will miss his earthly presence. We grieve, but not as those who do not have any hope. Our hope is in our precious Lord. What a glorious day it will be to see him again!
Dougie was a new born baby at our wedding. We have wonderful memories through all of these years.
Our family is scattered today in Asia, Finland, England and Nebraska. Please accept our love, sympathy and hugs through the many miles. We each desired to be with you at this time. We will hold you in our hearts and our prayers, Aunt Carol and Uncle Paul Landrey, MeRay, Angela and Pete - Elkhorn, NE.

Deepest symapathy to the Gossett family. Im still in shock. I grew up a few houses down from Grady, in Burton. I haven't seen him in quite a few years since he worked on Dort Highway. I drive truck and recently got back in touch with Grady while he was working on Hemphill rd. I would go into his place of employment every Wednesday to pick up a shipment he was shipping out. I really looked forward to seeing him on Wednesday's and talking to him about our younger days in school and things going on in our lives. It was always a joy to talk to him. Im really gonna miss him.
